About the Presenters

Carrie Nicholes, LCSW-C

Carrie Nicholes graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's in Marriage, Family, and Human Development in 2006 and a Master's of Social Work in 2008. She currently owns Cedar Counseling & Wellness in Annapolis, Maryland and is passionate about creating a positive impact in the mental health arena. Her areas of specialty include managing anxiety/stress and rebuilding client's relationship with self (including self-worth, self-compassion, and self-confidence).

Janene Pack, LPC

I am passionate about working with adolescents especially through the group process and I immerse myself in the adolescent world every day. I have four teenagers of my own, I work with adolescents through the LDS church, I am a full-time school counselor, and own a counseling business doing private therapy work supporting adolescents, young adults, and their parents in dealing with stress, anxiety, depression suicide ideation, autism, sexual orientation, and gender identity. My clinical skill is running adolescent groups and creating processing activities to help adolescents gain intrapersonal and interpersonal awareness and lifelong social skills.

Caitlin Magidson, LCPC

Caitlin is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and Certified Career Coach in private practice. Caitlin integrates her specialties of mental health counseling, and career coaching as she works with clients navigating life transitions to gain clarity and confidence in reaching their goals. She previously worked as the Assistant Director of Coaching & Education at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and is certified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Strengths Finder, Strong Interest Inventory, EQ-i 2.0, and EQ 360 with a Career Management Certificate from The Academies.  Caitlin has presented at local and national career development conferences and holds a BA in Corporate Communications from Elon University, and Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University.

Jackie Aston, LCSW-C

Jackie earned her Master of Social Work degree at The University of Maryland Baltimore. She has 3 years experience working at The Renfrew Center, a center for eating disorders, in PHP and IOP programs. Jackie currently works at Chesapeake Mental Health Collaborative, a private practice in Towson, MD, helping clients struggling with anxiety, moods disorders, eating disorders, relationship distress, and with life transitions. She is passionate about providing mental health education and resources.

Andrew W. Mueller, M.A., LCPC-S, NCC

Andrew Mueller is a licensed professional counselor who works with individuals and families of all ages. His counseling experience includes helping people overcome depression, anxiety, self-harm, ADHD, addictions, and other challenges. He also currently serves as the bishop of his ward.

Vivian Olsen, LCSW-C

Vivian Olsen received a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities from Brigham Young University, and a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Michigan State University. She has been a therapist in private practice, and has worked at inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities, as well as in substance abuse programs for adolescents and adults. Vivian founded Canary Garden, a grief support center for families in American Fork, Utah. Vivian enjoys reading, working out, and playing with her grandchildren and her dog, Mabel.

Dara Kruman, LCSW-C

Dara Kruman is a graduate of Brigham Young University where she received a degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development. Dara then went on to earn a Masters in Social Work from Boston College. Her work experience includes being a child and family therapist, a mental health consultant, and a mental health therapists. She has received training in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

LuAnn C. Oliver, LCSW

LuAnn C. Oliver, LCSW is the founder and clinical director of Heartswell in Arlington, VA. The practice focuses on healthy relationships, especially as it relates to overcoming addiction, depression and anxiety. She is a Certified EFT Couples Therapist and is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist in-training. She is passionate about building communities for healing and living a life the embraces our divine nature.
